Another Day in Paradise

Well the weather is definitely changing and getting cooler, had frost the last couple of mornings it's already been 26, the animals are working extra hard gathering food, the does are coming in with their fawn for the salt and minerals. The maples are turning along with a few other trees, fall is in the air, Kaia and Nashaba are more frisky but they have been staying closer to the house since the hunters have been on the mountains. Nashaba's pace definitely has some pep now that was missing when it was warmer. This has been a strange year we only had 5' of snow this year it melted quickly and we wee driving in and out most of the way as early as Feb when usually it's after Memorial day before that happens. The water levels have been down for the last 2 months but the dam continues to work as it has for over 80 years, but with the cooler air means the leaves will be falling and that means the screens will be getting clogged so I'll have to check it more and keep them clear, but then that is part of what I'm here for.IWith the weather getting like this then the snow won't be far behind I hope anyway. Enjoy
