If you are ever out near Trinity you will probably come across Kaia and Nashaba, especially Kaia, she loves people and if allowed will go hiking with anyone going across the mountains. Nashaba will watch you from the trees but won't let you get too close. Both of them came here this summer as rescues, Kaia came from WA while Nashaba came from Bend, OR, she's 2 and he's almost 9. They love exploring and checking out what is happening around here. The other day though they followed me out to the Lower Chiwawa Road and had ended up at some peoples house until I got back from Leavenworth and so the trip home was rather long almost 4.5 hours because they were following me home and it's 23 miles from the garage. Life is full of adventures, never a dull moment. Namaste  Posted by Picasa

Farewell to Tracy and Alana

On Thursday we had an impromptu Manicotti party and goodbye to Alana and Tracy, it started out just being dinner for 4-5 and ended up being about 15 people and yet with the one tray of Manicotti and other food everyone left with full stomachs getting seconds and thirds. Everything happens for a reason exactly when it is supposed to. It was chilly outside but warm inside with many friends showing up. Thanks Jerrilyn you did great. The next morning everyone had talked about getting together for brunch the next day so Jerrilyn, B Jo, Jaime, and me had a final meal with Tracy and Alana before they headed to Seattle to go back to NY. They'll be missed by grandma very much, they'll be back soon they know where the love is. Leavenworth is a special little village and the people I've met and the friends I've made just add to the goodness of life. This is just the beginning of having fun in my home area. For so long I just ran in and back home never got to know anyone here but now, I'm glad I slowed down and met new friends, Life is Great. Namaste

Halloween Party Uncle Uli's 10/29/05

These are a few of my friends in Leavenworth, having a geat time at Uncle Uli's , it was Free Beer Night. No TR hasn't lost his mind, your beer will still cost you, that is the name of the band. The music was great and everyone had a good time. We are on Mountain time a much more laid back atmosphere. I'll add more soon.

LIFE IS GREAT / Isn't it Beautiful

Namaste!
The snow is coming down very consistant right now, I'm supposed to be in Seattle for an appointment, that didn't happen. While trying to get ready to go this morning I headed to the dam at 5:30am, I got back at 7:58am, so after that adventure I changed my mind since the snow was picking up. While listening to KOHO morning show heard about trouble on the Steven's pass summit with 2 semi's doing the jacknife dance, so I decided that since the traffic was already being diverted from Snolqualmie Pass, I decided to stay home today and just enjoy the changes in the weather from the comfort of my house. Kaia and Nashaba ae really enjoying the snow also, and like to use the tracks that I make to get around now, it's much easier for me to bust the trail then for them. As you can see the ATV with tracks works well, but I'm finding out that it's not just about the tracks it's about geting the power/speed out of them to get on top of the snow, unfortunantly the Outlander 400 just doesn't have the guts, but it won't get stuck which means no digging out something I did alot last year. I'm waiting fro my Polaris Ranger XP, now wee are waiting to get Polaris to tell us that the tracks they make for the 800 ATV will work on the Ranger. Otherwise we will be putting the Lightfoot tracks from the 400 on the ranger, it has almost 2 times the power, but it won't be here until next week. It's all good, everyday here is good, beautiful and now very quiet, but soon the snowmobiles will be making the journey to enjoy the beauty. Make your day what you want it to be, all it takes is getting out of the way and allowing it to manifest. Namaste!
