IT's Snowing Again

It's great to have the snow back instead of the rain. things were starting to look like the spring melt out just a couple of days ago, but now it is cooler and the beautiful white snow is again falling heavily at times. We've gotten about 12" since the night before last. I've been working on the road around here to pack it better with the brute. I have to say it's not as quick as a snowmobile but it will go anywhere and doesn't get stuck or need to be dug out. The tracks work very nice in the snow and even doing sidehilling with it is interesting, but you definitely don't want to be in low, I was concerned at first but have been very happy with my choice to get the ranger xp it takes a beating and keeps on going and having the bed makes it nice to carry things around, saves the back and knees. I would still like to take the limiter off the Ranger as it will surely go faster than the limiter allows it to do but I have taken it out in many different types of snow packed and not and it is consistant. With the snow falling and the limbs getting heavy with snow it is looking beautiful again and purity again comes into the valley with only the sound of the Pelton wheel as it generates the power needed to keep Trinity in lights. now this is what I call Paradise, have you found your paradise. Namaste and Blessings for the comng New Year, make a difference show Love and kindness even when you don't feel like it and you will be blessed more than you know.

KOHO Rocks

Namaste' Ya'll, It's snowing again in the mountains and that is sure nice to see after everything melting for the last 4 or 5 days now. I just wanted to send a shout out to KOHO Radio in Leavenworth my home, they play a great selection of music covering a gambit of musical taste. Thanks to Bob for getting the sign for me to hang on the gate at Trinity, and for Michael Dickes for finding it when I went to pick it up. As promised here it is on the Blog for everyone to see that Trinity listens 100% to KOHO the FISH. Thanks again to John T for watching my kids after they followed me out the other day when I went to celebrate Christmas with friends. Would like to hear more reggae and Robert Earl Keen, being from TX I still like many of the home boys. In the TX hill country Fredricksburg/Johnson City there is KFAN TX Rebel Radio and KOHO is the closest station I have found to them mostly because they listen to the listeners not other playlist being used by every other radio station. If you want to hear good music tune in you won't be sorry. Keep the music coming it makes the snow look better. Namaste'

KOHO sign supplied by Bob thanks to Michael for finding it for me. Great mix of music, not the same few songs played over and over. Keep it Rockin' in the Cascades Posted by Picasa

Trinity is the only Central Washington town that has 100% listenership of KOHO Radio the FISH...  Posted by Picasa

A Big Thank You

Well Christmas is over and the New Year is closing in, time to reflect on the things that went great and continue to do those things, and time to change those that didn't work so well. It's ok to make mistakes just not to keep repeating the one's already made. I had a great time for Christmas with good friends and when coming home today and stopping to check my mail I was informed that my woofers had followed me out and had showed up at local radio personality John T's house on the beautiful Fish Lake, and he kept them for me until I stopped by there this afternoon. I don't want them to follow me but it s hard to explain the difference of following me 3 miles to the dam or 23 miles to the garage to them it's just going. Unfortunately Kaia is the instigator and Nashaba goes with her, they just want to be with me. Well I want to thank John T and his wife for looking out for my kids for me, it's nice to meet new neighbors but not the way I would like to do it. That is what makes Trinity and Leavenworth such a very special place to me, it really is the people and the attitude of them that makes it work so well. I've been to many places but never found any place like this, nestled into the mountains with creeks and rivers all around, and people that really care. My hope is that each of you find your paradise and have a wonderful 2006, realize that you only have TODAY make the most of it, and leave the past where it is, the past, learn what you can and leave the rest , make a journey out of it. The simple things love , peace, beauty, kindness, creativeness, gratitude, can change our outlook and our life it isn't chasing the money or the JOB, but learning how to really be happy and at peace. that is my desire for you this year. Namaste and Blessings
