A Big Thank You

Well first of I want to thank Don and Brandy from Yakima for coming to help break down some of the Deeeeep Powder that we have here. It has no moisture and the more you try to pack it the deeper you sink and yes I can stick the Brute. Don came out on a M7 with Nitrous and definitely got the job done, then he played in the powder, it's the kind skiers dream of but with out the right equipment can be a nightmare. It was a blessing for all as he got to play in virgin snow we got to the bowling alley which was the goal for the day. It was such a beautiful day the sun was shining bright, the temp was perfect, but what more do you expect from Paradise, hope you find yours. Namaste'

Can you still se the moose she is about 60' below me trying to hide , she's tired after her morning run. Such a blessing having her in the forest.  Posted by Picasa

Well this is a moose that was seen heading south about 1.5 miles from Trinity. It had been chased for over 5 miles and finally got off the road just before the Trinity TH parking lot. Posted by Picasa

Can you guess what this is travelling south from Trinity? Posted by Picasa

What a Beautiful Day

Namaste' What a great day in Paradise. It is absolutely gorgeous the sun is shining bright, all the mountains are in view with the snow glistening it's 24 outside crisp and clear not a cloud in sight. The furkids have been playing in the snow and enjoying life as usual. They just came in to say hello, even Gizmo likes to go out and play in the snow very unlike a cat. Sitting here and looking around it is hard to believe that anyone could not enjoy being here yet many are so caught up in the world of a job and working so that they can make it here for a few days a year, I'm just grateful that my job if you call it that is to be here and look at the beauty that surrounds me, it's easy to reflect on the paths we all take to get where we want to be. I have to admit that my journey was a long and not always easy one, but it was my journey and it is because of that journey that I have found the most important things in life we make happen, with our thought and actions. It is no good to know something if we never put action to it. Love, Peace and Gratitude to me are what is the most important. If we learn to love not just say the words but really love unconditionally we have something to give to all, if we spread peace by keeping our words and thoughts true to our calling then we won't have time for wars or fighting of any type which does nothing good for anyone. We all make our choices and have to take responsibility for such not blame anyone else because if something isn't right then I need to look inside and see where I might need to change. We draw all the people in or lives to us either by choice or by default so we shouldn't complain when they show up. Being grateful to me is so very important because life is a gift to be enjoyed but without gratitude we think we are owed something, we aren't that's the truth. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Creator of us all, we affect everyone whether or not we think we do either by our thoughts or actions. Even living where I live in the mountains I realize that what I do can have a positive or negative effect on the world, mainly by my thoughts especially when they turn to words. The words we speak are so powerful, some say "life or death is in the power of the tongue" I believe there is no statement that is more true. That is why I believe that so many have such a hard time because they haven't learned to control their tongue and their life is a result, sickness, despair, misery, could all be changed just by agreeing with the Creator that he only wants to give us good things and the fact is we just need to agree and not try to figure it out, we can then have health, peace and all of or desires. I pray for peace and love to fill the world so that we can all experience our paradise, just as I have found mine. Blessings

That is 18" of fresh snow the fluffy stuff that won't make a snowball and very slick Posted by Picasa

Different looks from the same area just turning around and moving less that 100 yds. Isn't it beautiful what we have to enjoy daily if we just look. Posted by Picasa

It keeps on coming

I have to admit after last year I wondered about the snow amounts I had been told about but now I am seeing what they were telling me about and I think it is beautiful. We got another 18" last night giving us over 10' of snow and getting deeper. Now that it got cold now the snow is the fluffy stuff that won't make a snowball, so it is slick but doesn't pack very well. With the full moon and the clouds it was beautiful this morning before the sun came up, we'll just have to see what today brings and whether or not I make it to therapy today. Paradise is beautiful, hope you find yours. Namaste'

These are my best friends and companions most of the time but Kaia will go with anyone heading over the mountains, she just loves to go. Now she thinks snowmobiles are her favorite game, showing her blast of speed on the snow Posted by Picasa

Thanks Ike

Namaste'.
Well it's Sunday morning and the snow has stopped for now we had beautiful clear skies to see the full moon last night it was nice to see it. the temp dropped and true to his word Ike came out and groomed the road to Trinity, which needed to be done as there we many places that had small slides that were just waiting to become big slides making it difficult to get in or out, several trees down also but that should be taken care of now. I have to agree the conditons for the last week haven't been good for grooming or much of anything else. This past week brought more snow than we had all last year and now we have twice what we had around the houses and powerhouse and not sure about the dam right now can't get there because of a big slide. Everything is running well though so not to worry. The more snow just makes it more beautiful. Today it is nice to see the sun even though it is in the clouds mostly it does light up the mountains. Again Thanks Ike for keeping your word and grooming as soon as it got cold and dry. I can make my appointments now this coming week.
