IT's Snowing Again
It's great to have the snow back instead of the rain. things were starting to look like the spring melt out just a couple of days ago, but now it is cooler and the beautiful white snow is again falling heavily at times. We've gotten about 12" since the night before last. I've been working on the road around here to pack it better with the brute. I have to say it's not as quick as a snowmobile but it will go anywhere and doesn't get stuck or need to be dug out. The tracks work very nice in the snow and even doing sidehilling with it is interesting, but you definitely don't want to be in low, I was concerned at first but have been very happy with my choice to get the ranger xp it takes a beating and keeps on going and having the bed makes it nice to carry things around, saves the back and knees. I would still like to take the limiter off the Ranger as it will surely go faster than the limiter allows it to do but I have taken it out in many different types of snow packed and not and it is consistant. With the snow falling and the limbs getting heavy with snow it is looking beautiful again and purity again comes into the valley with only the sound of the Pelton wheel as it generates the power needed to keep Trinity in lights. now this is what I call Paradise, have you found your paradise. Namaste and Blessings for the comng New Year, make a difference show Love and kindness even when you don't feel like it and you will be blessed more than you know.

KOHO Rocks
Namaste' Ya'll, It's snowing again in the mountains and that is sure nice to see after everything melting for the last 4 or 5 days now. I just wanted to send a shout out to KOHO Radio in Leavenworth my home, they play a great selection of music covering a gambit of musical taste. Thanks to Bob for getting the sign for me to hang on the gate at Trinity, and for Michael Dickes for finding it when I went to pick it up. As promised here it is on the Blog for everyone to see that Trinity listens 100% to KOHO the FISH. Thanks again to John T for watching my kids after they followed me out the other day when I went to celebrate Christmas with friends. Would like to hear more reggae and Robert Earl Keen, being from TX I still like many of the home boys. In the TX hill country Fredricksburg/Johnson City there is KFAN TX Rebel Radio and KOHO is the closest station I have found to them mostly because they listen to the listeners not other playlist being used by every other radio station. If you want to hear good music tune in you won't be sorry. Keep the music coming it makes the snow look better. Namaste'

A Big Thank You
Well Christmas is over and the New Year is closing in, time to reflect on the things that went great and continue to do those things, and time to change those that didn't work so well. It's ok to make mistakes just not to keep repeating the one's already made. I had a great time for Christmas with good friends and when coming home today and stopping to check my mail I was informed that my woofers had followed me out and had showed up at local radio personality John T's house on the beautiful Fish Lake, and he kept them for me until I stopped by there this afternoon. I don't want them to follow me but it s hard to explain the difference of following me 3 miles to the dam or 23 miles to the garage to them it's just going. Unfortunately Kaia is the instigator and Nashaba goes with her, they just want to be with me. Well I want to thank John T and his wife for looking out for my kids for me, it's nice to meet new neighbors but not the way I would like to do it. That is what makes Trinity and Leavenworth such a very special place to me, it really is the people and the attitude of them that makes it work so well. I've been to many places but never found any place like this, nestled into the mountains with creeks and rivers all around, and people that really care. My hope is that each of you find your paradise and have a wonderful 2006, realize that you only have TODAY make the most of it, and leave the past where it is, the past, learn what you can and leave the rest , make a journey out of it. The simple things love , peace, beauty, kindness, creativeness, gratitude, can change our outlook and our life it isn't chasing the money or the JOB, but learning how to really be happy and at peace. that is my desire for you this year. Namaste and Blessings

Twas the day before Christmas
Namaste and Merry Christmas from Trinity. Today it's raining and getting sloppy outside nothing is moving not even a snowmobiler on the trails. Which is probably a good thing as it would really make a mess. It's been snowing intermittently but mostly rain which will help the snow to pack better but until it freezes again it makes it very mushy and not as much fun to be in. The ice that had formed in the creek and at the dam has now given way to the waterflow going over the rocks and even though it's hard to get around it is still a place of beauty and peace. It really is paradise to me and the kids can't think of any place we'd rather be. Wishing everyone peace and blessings this year and here's to finding your bit of paradise where ever it may be.
Namaste, Gregg, Kaia, Nashaba& Gizmo.

Well it's finally snowing again!!!
Well it'sa finally warming up and the snow is returning to the Chiwawa Valley, which is good. It has been very cold with temps staying below 25 for highs and dipping as low as 2 like it was last evening around 6pm. Kaia and Nashaba have even been coming in at night but with the snow returning they had to go and play in it. All the new snow that we got has been comploetely shredded up by the snowmobilers so this will be nice for everyone, the race will be on for getting to the powder first. Me I'm heading up to the dam to see how things look now, even the snow is slacking off now. It has already gotten to 30 haven't seen that temp in over a week, it has been bitterly cold and now it's warming up which means more snow and possibly some rain in lower levels. Friends are returning from their journeys and it was fun getting with them this past weekend in Leavenworth, some of the pictures below are from the ice crystals and icicles in town at friends. It's nice to see the snow in the trees again, it was starting to look like spring already, not good in Dec especially since the winter soltice is coming in 2 days. Life is Great. Namaste

Well it's been colder than last year
Well this year has already been much different than last year, we've gotten more snow than all last year and it's been colder longer than it was all last year. The dam has almost frozen over this year a couple of times and we have been in the 8-12 degree nights for about 2 weeks and yet last year only had about 4 days that were this cold and the days don't seem to warm up much until a couple of days ago when it hit 40 and 36 while in Leavenworth was in the 20's, they are much lower almost 1600' lower than here but it's been warmer here than there. Crazy weather but then it is so beautiful, tonight the moon is almost full illuminating the mountains and with all the snow covered areas it just seems to light it up more. It looks so pure and beautiful and the clear skies will allow it to cool even more. the mountains are all standing at attention in all their glory and majesty. The creeks are even beginning to freeze in areas that never froze last year, ice dams are beginning to form which in turn makes nice pools, giving it a totally new look.

Well the Help wasn't much help
Well the help I had been waiting for arrived but didn't say long, and have continued on their journey to who knows where. I have to say it was a bit disappointing especially since telling her what I would and wouldn't tolerate here, Trinity is a place of beauty and peace and I will do what ever to preserve that even if it means doing it alone which I'm not worried about as there are enough friends that like to come help out. I have to say that I am constantly amazed how when you are honest with people and tell them all you can to let them know up front what to expect here that they show up thinking that I'm the one that has to make the adjustments and it just isn't so I'm very happy with the way things are and plan to be here a very long time, and I know that everything happens like it is supposed to when it is supposed to and I have learned that you must find freinds of like mind to go on your journey, can't go back to the past, especially when you've been enlightened and know what is truely important. Love and Peace and gratitude are the important things and finding beauty where ever you are . I'm very grateful to the friends that I have today, it seems that I don't have to explain myself and there is a bond that is stronger than anything I have ever experienced and yet is is what I have looked for my entire life. It just keeps getting better everyday, Life is Great in Paradise, hope you find yours.

Temea in front of Fish Lake, this is my friend that finally got here after a very long road trip and getting sidetracked in Montana, then back to Texas then to Missouri, back to Texas then to California and finally arrived here last Friday. It only took her 14 months from when she originaly set out to come here. Some of the things we put ourselves through to get where we are supposed to be. I know my journey here was a long and usually crooked one but now Paradise is all around, I have great friends and live in the most beautiful place, it's easy to see all the beauty around me, glad I'm out of the rat race. Hope you find yours to, take time to smell the flowers. Namaste
