This is where the boulder was hanging around but with all the rain and wet snow it started peeling away over a month ago and finally let go resting in the road  Posted by Picasa

Well it finally came down and is now located on the downhill side of the road. Glad no one was there when it came down Posted by Picasa

What a Difference a Year Makes!!

Last year at this time I was in Seattle getting ready to head to Vancouver for a week by Amtrak. Today one year ago I went out and almost didn't have enough snow to go out on a snowmobile, today I have over 10' of snow on the ground still but today was rather warm and melted alot, hopefully it will freeze and make the road better for travelling. We left at 7:30 headed north on the train heading to Vancouver and there is no better place to celebrate a 50th birthday. We had a good time visiting many of the local resturants and bars this year I'm going to Seattle to see a Reggae show. When I come home Sunday I'll still have snow, compared to last year when I was able to drive to within 6 miles of Trinity for about 10 days but then the snow returned in late March and we got almost as much in 2 days as all of winter, this year that won't be a problem, it will be a while before I'll be driving in very far. Life is good, I continue to learn what is important love, peace, and compassion and realizing that what is, is, neither good or bad, and that everything happens for a reason. Paradise is wonderful, may you find yours.

IT's Back!!!!

Well as you can tell from the recent pics the snow is back , not even sure if I'll be able to get this out before the dish goes down again. It's a wet heavy snow and very sticky. It's been coming down since yesterday afternoon I watched it coming over the mountains on the way home and ran into about 10 miles from Trinity but it was very light and wispy, today it's sticking and accumulating over a ft since I got back and doesn't look like it is going to let up anytime soon, but it is nice to see, at least all the black snow from the heavy winds last week and all the needles from the trees will be white again and much nicer to look at. Paradise is constantly changing for the good, hope you find yours too. Life is Great. Namaste'
