These flowers have popped up along the road from the garage to the snowpark, and this bee is busy.

Jerrilyn taking a gather of glass after adding color to a previous gather, there are many steps to make one piece of art. The first thing is safety, everything there is extremely hot. 

Jerrilyn opening up the top of the glass, learning how to use the Jacks. There is so much you can do with the glass and it all starts out the same way, as a gather of molten glass on the end of a pipe. 

This is Mike the TA in the class opening the end of a glass so that it can be opened up and shaped. It's all about touch, timing and Heat, heat is your friend.
